About us

Underwear you would actually choose

Carry On exists because adult protection has spent decades being designed like a medical problem instead of underwear you would actually choose. We set out to change that: pull-on absorbent underwear, made for real bodies and real days, worn first by us before it ever reaches you.

The problem was never you

For decades, adult protection has been designed like a medical problem. The language of sufferers and patients. The look of hospital plastic. The kind of packaging you hope nobody sees on the kitchen bench. Somewhere along the way, a normal part of being human got treated like a fault to be managed quietly and apologised for.

We think that is backwards. Your body is not a problem to manage. It is a life to live. The products were the thing that failed people, not the people wearing them. So we started again, from the underwear out.

Underwear you would actually choose

Carry On is pull-on absorbent underwear, redesigned so it earns a place in your drawer next to everything else. You pull it on. Pants go over. Done. It is quiet, slim and built to disappear under what you already wear, with engineered absorbency where you need it and none of the bulk you do not.

It is not a diaper and it is not a pad. It looks like underwear, feels like performance fabric and behaves itself through a full day, a long flight or a night's sleep. That is the whole point: protection you would reach for on purpose, not settle for in secret.

Who it is for

Bladder changes are far more common than anyone lets on, and they arrive for all sorts of ordinary reasons. Carry On is made for women and men across many stages of life, in cuts shaped for each body.

Worn first, by us

We do not ship anything we have not lived in. Every design is worn first by us, for more than 400 hours of real testing, before it ever reaches you. Long days on our feet, travel, sleep, the unglamorous reality of a normal week. If it does not hold up for us, it does not go out.

When you try a pack, that testing continues. Tell us what worked and what did not, and your feedback shapes the next prototype. This is built with the people who wear it, not at them.

A note from Ed

Carry On exists because of one person's experience. Our founder, Ed, built it after his own prostate surgery, when he went looking for something dignified to wear and found nothing he would choose. So he made it, and he wore every design himself for more than 400 hours before letting anyone else try a single prototype.

That is still how the company runs from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, where Carry On is made by GardeWear Pty Ltd. Honest about the thing nobody mentions, and unwilling to dress it up as a medical condition.

For every ten packs, we donate one

Dignity should not depend on geography or income. For every ten packs sold, we donate one to communities and humanitarian situations where access to good protection is overlooked, working towards a goal of 50,000 packs donated by 2026. It is not a charity gesture bolted on the side. It is part of why we are here.

Try it for yourself

The best way to understand Carry On is to wear it. We will post you a free 3-pair trial pack in a plain, unmarked box, so you can decide in private, on your own terms. The pack itself is free; you just pay shipping at checkout. We are launching across Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom through 2026, starting in Australia.
